If System 9 is already installed on your Mac, you need to find your System 9 installation disk.
Double-click the disc icon.
Open the "Software Installers" folder.
Open the "Language Kits" folder
Double-click "Install Language Kits"
Select "Software for the Hebrew Language" and the "Install".
If you would like to type in Hebrew using English letters that are close to Hebrew letters ("s" for "shin", "m" for "mem", etc.) you should install the special Hebrew Keyboard layout. In the System 9 install CD, open the "CD extras" folder"
Open the "Language Kits CD Extras" folder.
Open the "Hebrew" folder".
Open the "Keyboards" folder.
Drag the "Hebrew-QWERTY" file over the icon of your closed system folder and release the mouse. You will now have an extra choice of a Hebrew keyboard layout.
